Privacy Policy

Smart Mechanik provides doorstep two-wheeler repair and servicing in Hyderabad. Our workshop is at Murad Nagar Main Rd, Zeba Bagh, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500028. We are the data fiduciary for the information described below.

For anything in this policy, contact us at smartmechanik01@gmail.com or +91 79798 40717.

When you submit an enquiry form: your name, phone number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, your bike model, and the service you are interested in. Name and phone are required; everything else is optional.

Automatically, when you arrive: the advertising click identifier in the link you followed (Google's gclid, gbraid or wbraid), any campaign tags on the URL, the page you landed on, and the site that referred you. This is how we know which advert produced an enquiry.

Usage data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, and aggregate heatmaps of where visitors tap and scroll. We do not record your screen or session, and we do not send your name, phone number or email address to our analytics provider.

To call you back about your enquiry, arrange a pickup, quote and carry out the work, and keep a record of the job. We also use it to understand which adverts and which parts of this page lead to enquiries, so we do not waste money on advertising that does not work.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them.

We use a small number of service providers. Each receives only what it needs:

• Privyr — Receives your enquiry so our team is notified immediately and can call you back.
• Zoho CRM — Stores the enquiry as a customer record. Data is held in Zoho's India data centre.
• Google Ads — Receives a signal that an enquiry happened, linked to the advert you clicked. Where enhanced conversions is active, Google may also receive a hashed, non-readable form of your email or phone number to match the conversion to your click.
• PostHog — Website analytics and heatmaps. Receives usage events only, never your contact details. Data is held in the United States.
• Calendly — Only if you choose to book a slot on our thank-you page, in which case Calendly receives the details you enter there.
• WhatsApp / Meta — Only if you choose to tap our WhatsApp button, which opens a conversation you control.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Because these providers operate internationally, some information is processed outside India, as noted above.

Google's advertising tag sets a first-party cookie (_gcl_aw and related) to remember which advert brought you here, so a later enquiry can be attributed to it. Our analytics provider sets its own cookie to recognise a returning visitor.

We also use your browser's temporary session storage to carry your enquiry from the form to the confirmation page, and to make sure a single enquiry is only counted once. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The forms and the site will still work.

We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we are dealing with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained by our analytics provider under its own schedule.

If you would like your information deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it — see below.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for us to contact you. Email smartmechanik01@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
